凯伦·李·阿什克拉夫特 is a 教授 in the Department of 沟通. Her research examines how relations of difference—such as gender, 比赛, 和 sexuality—shape various scenes of work 和 organization, ranging from social services to commercial aviation to academic labor. Her scholarship appears in such venues as Academy of Management Review, 通信理论, Administrative Science Quarterly, 和 Management 沟通 Quarterly. 最近, she is exploring the relationship between communication 和 affect 和, 具体地说, how occupational identities arise 和 circulate through affective economies.
